This was something of a passion project. I love horror movies, and when I saw the trailer for IT Chapter Two, this scene was in it. I thought it was really a cool scene, which lead to the thought, “I should try to animate that.” Even though the entire video is just 17 seconds, it took me a few weeks to put it together. From drawing the characters, building the 3D room, then animating everything, it took a surprisingly long time. I do like the way it turned out though.
